We founded Strange Reflection Designs during the pandemic with a simple idea: make the art we had always dreamed of making.
We’re storytellers inspired by the tales we love—the strange, beautiful, haunting stories that stay with us long after they end. That passion led to our first graphic novel, The Phantom of the Opera, and it continues to shape everything we create.
But stories aren’t just something we consume. They become part of how we understand and express ourselves.
That’s why we started putting our artwork on shirts. They turn a piece of art into something you can carry with you—something that says a little about who you are before you ever say a word.
And sometimes, someone recognizes it.

Few stories capture the conflict within the human soul as powerfully as The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This striking pen-and-ink design unites the two identities in a single portrait—one half the respectable Dr. Jekyll, the other the savage Mr. Hyde. Behind them, an inkblot evokes a Rorschach test while unmistakably forming the shape of a skull, suggesting that what we see often reveals more about ourselves than the image alone. Inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's timeless novella, this artwork explores duality, repression, and the masks we wear. Created for readers, thinkers, and lovers of Gothic literature, it is a reminder that our greatest struggles are often the ones hidden within.
Inspired by Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Crane's Gambit reimagines the tale as a fateful hand of cards. The King of Hearts is split between Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman, forever bound by the night that transformed one into legend and the other into mystery. A subtle break at Ichabod's neck foreshadows his uncertain fate, while the Horseman brandishes his sword from the opposing half of the card. Rendered in an intricate pen-and-ink style, this design blends Gothic folklore with classic playing card iconography, celebrating one of America's most enduring ghost stories and the thin line between superstition and reality.
